Current Release

Macrium Reflect X

Released October 2024, Reflect X is the current Macrium Reflect product line — replacing Reflect 8. If you've searched for "Macrium Reflect 10," "11," "2025," or "2026," this is what you're looking for: those numbers come from Reflect X's internal build versioning (v10.x and up), not a separate product.

What's New in Reflect X

Four capabilities that didn't exist in Reflect 8.

Resumable Backups

Checkpointed imaging automatically resumes an interrupted backup — from crashes, restarts, or connection loss — instead of starting over from zero.

~2x Faster

A new compression algorithm and optimized multithreading roughly double backup, imaging, and recovery speed compared to Reflect 8.

Open-Source File Format

The backup image format is open-source, reducing the risk of being locked out of your own backup data by a proprietary format.

ARM Device Support

Runs natively on ARM-based Windows devices, including Copilot+ PCs, with boot menu recovery and bare metal restore.
